***IT'S ALMOST TIME!!***
We can't wait to get things underway tomorrow for the 2024 KC Minor Hockey 3 on 3 Tournament!
Attn: Coaches/Managers -- your jerseys will be picked up at your first game, when you come in to fill in your game sheet. Please leave lots of time, and make sure you review the rules as they pertain to not only game play, but also filling out your game sheet! Remember that the rinks will all be busy this weekend...we have games starting every 40 minutes, so please be sure to get changes ASAP after your game, so that the next team can come in and get ready! We'll be needing your help to keep things running smoothly and on time. We can't wait to see you all, and hope everyone has a great weekend!!
Registration payments are now overdue! Any outstanding payments should be made ASAP by e-transfer to KCMinor.Treasurer@gmail.com -- please include your team name and division. If you have any players or coaches who were not registered with a team for the 2023/24 season, there is a $65 registration fee (per player or coach in question) charged by HNO that is payable with your team registration fee.

Hello hockey familes! Guess what? WE'RE BACK!!
The 2024 Thunder Bay 3 on 3 Tournament will be held April 25th to 28th, and we can't wait to see you!
As our tournament is an HNO-sanctioned event, all coaches who will be behind the bench must be registered with Hockey Canada, and must have all of the following qualifications:
Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
Rowan's Law
Respect In Sport for Activity Leaders
Gender Identity and Expression Training
***In addition to the above requirements, all teams in the U17 division must have one FULLY ACCREDITED coach (with their Coach 2 certificate) behind the bench AT ALL TIMES.***
DIVISIONS:
● U11 (2013/14/15-born) -- AA, A, Mixed
● U13 (2011/12-born) -- AA, A, Mixed
● U15 (2009/10-born) -- AA, Mixed
● U17 (2007/08-born)

ENTRY FEE:
$1200 per team for all divisions, payable by e-transfer to KCMinor.Treasurer@gmail.com -- please include team name and division...DUE MARCH 31ST!!

REGISTRATION NEWS:
Registration will open February first, and will close March 8th, or when divisions are full (space is limited...don't wait!). Due to changes with Hockey Canada's requirements, there will be a different registration process this year. It will be a multi-step process, as described below. Unfortunately, it is more time consuming, but it's the only way we're able to run this tournament going forward, so hopefully we'll all adapt! We'll appreciate your patience as we all learn together. :)
Teams will initially register through our website using the same registration form as in previous years.
Our Registrars will ensure that each player and bench staff member is eligible in the Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) system. Once this is confirmed, the team representative will be emailed an HCR registration link (like the one used to register for the regular season).
The team representative will then forward the link to their team's parents/guardians. Each player and bench staff must be registered individually in the HCR system.
Once all ten players AND all bench personnel have been registered in the HCR, the team representative will let us know, so that our Registrars can assign the players to the 3 on 3 team. At this point, a team's registration will be deemed complete, and the registration fee can be paid.

Guess what!?! You no longer have to submit a waiver for our tournament, now that we're fully sanctioned, and covered by Hockey Canada's insurance, through HNO! :)
